Sinn Féin have nominated two general election candidates for ratification at their convention

Two candidates from Sinn Féin have been nominated to go forward for selection for the general election for the Carlow/Kilkenny constituency.

The nominees are Bagenalstown’s Áine Gladney Knox who ran in the local elections and Knocktopher’s Natasha Newsome Drennan who was also a candidate in the local elections.

Ratification will take place at a convention, to be held tomorrow afternoon at the Clubhouse Hotel in Kilkenny.
