Laura Mooney of Slieverue GAA has been named Leinster runner-up in EirGrid’s GAA Community Heroes Awards.
The campaign recognises volunteers who make an outstanding contribution to their clubs and local communities.
EirGrid received almost 80 nominations from across the country, with Laura praised for her commitment and dedication to Slieverue GAA.
The awards are run in partnership with the GAA and Camogie Championships.
