The Social Democrats has officially selected its General Election hopeful for Carlow and Kilkenny.
As expected Patricia Stephenson came through last night’s convention at the Avalon House Hotel in Castlecomer.

Living between the town and Old Leighlin, she posted the following online;
She’s the 14th person, and sixth woman, bidding to win one of five seats to represent this constituency in the election, the date for which has not yet been confirmed.
