“Something that you can’t compare to anything else” says Kilkenny based soldier of journey with the Defence Forces

Soldiers have been sharing their passion for their jobs amid showcasing their skills, equipment and facilities.

The local base, James Stephens’ Army Barracks in Kilkenny, held an open day for three hours earlier today.

There was also on site information for those interested in a career with the Defence Forces.
