A South Kilkenny mother says she’ll be left with no option but to remove her child from her secondary school.
Sinéad Foskin says her daughter is one of 16 children who’ve been left stranded after being refused concessionary bus tickets by Bus Éireann at the last minute.
She says the company only told her on the 10th of August that they couldn’t give her daughter a place on a bus because she was going from Mullinavat to New Ross and not to her nearest school in Mooncoin.
Speaking to KCLR News, Sinéad says she and the other parents have been left in an impossible situation and says she cannot understand why they could not have been told back in June or July.
