Councillors in Kilkenny are to seek an extension to the time-frame being allowed for a review of the Waterford-Kilkenny county boundary.
At a special meeting this morning members of the Piltown Municipal district area proposed a steering committee to deal exclusively with the issue.
As it stands the Environment Minister Alan Kelly should be receiving a report at the end of November.
But Fine Gael councillor Pat Dunphy says they need more time.
