Storm Darragh lifts slates off one of Kilkenny city’s oldest buildings

Work is underway to rectify roof damage at one of Kilkenny city’s oldest buildings.

St Mary’s Cathedral which opened in 1857 lost a number of slates during the weekend as Storm Darragh blustered through the area.

Nobody was injured in the incident.
