Strawberry Jam

Anne Neary’s homemade strawberry jam recipe… makes about 4/ 5 lbs of jam

  • 3lb Cane Caster Sugar
  • 3lb frozen strawberries
  • 2 lemons (juiced)

If using fresh strawberries, place them in the freezer.

Place lemon juice and cane sugar in a large preserving pot and start melting the sugar.

Add the strawberries and bring to the boil.

Simmer for approximately 25 minutes , stirring occasionally.

Pot and seal.
