Students from Carlow and Kilkenny heading for regional finals of Junk Kouture

Students from across Carlow and Kilkenny are gearing up for the Junk Kouture regional finals.

Some are departing this morning for The Helix in Dublin for the next stage of the competition that sees them create outfits by recycling a range of items.

These include those behind Kilkenny City Vocational School’s ‘The Pavee Princess’ and ‘Achera Lilth-Heim’.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) then it’s the turn of ‘Party Twister’ from Borris Vocational School, ‘Tonn Chliona’ from Castlecomer Community School, ‘Nature’s Fairytale’ from Colaiste Eoin in Hacketstown and ‘Divine Menstruation’ from Tullow Community School.
