TD John McGuinness says Govt has to help care facilities meet standards required of them

Deputy John McGuinness says the Government has to help with funding to allow local care facilities to meet the standards required of them.

The Fianna Fáil TD was speaking to KCLR earlier in relation to concerns he has raised in the Dáil about a lack of respite care locally and the Camphill community in Ballytobin.

He says he hopes the issues in Ballytobin can be addressed but he says services like that need adequate funding.
