A number of temporary road closures take effect in the Callan / Thomastown Municicpal District of Kilkenny this week.
Starting today (Monday, 11th May) and continuing tomorrow (Tuesday, 12th May) those impacted include R703 Thomastown to Graignamanagh from its junction with R705 Graignamanagh to Borris to its junction with the L8312 at Oldgrange.
Similarly, the L8203 Station Road in Thomastown will be closed for the same time frame (today only) between the Library and about 50m on the Thomastown side of the Greens Housing Estate entrance.
On Wednesday (13th May) crews move to the L1020 at Broadmore, closing the stretch from its junction with N76 Callan to the junction with the L1020 on the Tipperary border.
Thursday (14th May) the L5085 at Garranhallo/Lamoge from its junction with R5084 Lamoge Cross to the R698 at Windgap Village will be shut off to vehicles.
And on Friday (15th May) it’s the turn of the L5102 at Condonstown from its junction with L5101.
All works are weather dependent but are expected to run from 7am to 7pm with local diversions signposted. While local access will be facilitated, delays can be expected.
