Tesco confirm planning submission for store at old mart in Kilkenny

Tesco Ireland has confirmed it intends to submit planning for a new store at the former Mart site, in Kilkenny.

Under the scheme, a new car park facility, Click+Collect services for customers, and a grocery home shopping hub to serve the larger County Kilkenny catchment will be built in Kilkenny city, subject to planning approval.

The store will be modern, sustainable, and accessible.

Tesco are also looking at opening their first city centre store on Kilkenny High Street, in mid-October
