First tonight Matt spoke to the Minister for Agriculture, Michael Creed, about the Beef Environmental Efficiency Scheme (BEEP) developed to improve the genetics of the Irish suckler herd.
We were joined by two farmers with an interest in this area: Enda Fingleton, who is an Angus producer from Co. Laois and Jack Madigan, who produces Kilkenny rosé veal. Both are members the Beef Plan Movement which is coordinating efforts to improve cattle prices.

Michael Parsons, former Chairman of Kilkenny Mart recently the Plunkett award for Cooperative Endeavour. Michael was in studio to talk about the Irish Co-op movement and the Kilkenny Mart in particular.
