A local community kindergarten’s ramping up its bid to secure the premises its been operating from for two decades.
The facility in Thomastown was set up in 2001 by a group of parents who recognised the need for a deeply child-centred educational space where children are valued as imaginative and creative individuals, where their development is nurtured through self-discovery in a safe, rhythmic, unhurried and home-like environment and where creative outdoor play and exploration of nature is a cornerstone of their day.
It’s thrived ever since and demand for its services is clearly there with a waiting list for those seeking placement.
Those who run it are a long way along their journey of buying the building they have been renting, but they need a little more to get it over the line.
They’ve planned a special event which takes place this Sunday (1st December) – it includes the launch of specially-composed song ‘Surprise You With Our Freedom’ and boasts two raffles, including this one;
