Thousands of people across Carlow and Kilkenny took part in events to raise funds for the suicide prevention charity Pieta House.
Darkness into Light events took place in 80 locations in Ireland and across the world, at dawn this morning.

The 5K walk is the main fundraising event organised by the suicide and self-harm prevention and treatment centre Pieta House.
Speaking on the Saturday Show with Sue Nunn, Chair of Carlow Darkness into Light, Terry Platt said events like this proves people are not alone.
