Final preparations are underway for the Borris Fair.
The event rolls out in the county Carlow spot every year on the Feast of the Assumption (15th August) and typically draws thousands of attendees across the country.
But local opinion on it is divided and some businesses opt to varying their opening hours;
It’s expected there’ll be no through traffic on the Main Street from 6pm this evening while stall holders set up.
