Three local food producers have been nominated for Prestigious Awards.
They’ve been highlighted for their unique products created as part of Dunnes Stores ‘Simply Better’ food collection at the recent Irish Quality Food Awards 2016.
Seery’s Bakery in Tinryland are shortlisted for Seery Heatherfield’s, Hidden Centre Clementine & Cranberry Christmas Pudding in the ‘Bakery Desert Category’.
Callan Bacon won the ‘Bacon’ category for its ‘Simply Better Dry Cured Irish Rashers’.
And Mileeven Fine Foods was highly commended for its ‘Simply Better Cut Comb in Pure Acacia Honey’ in the ‘Sweet Spreads and Sauces’ category.
