Tipperary woman to be laid to rest today following Carlow crash earlier this week

A Tipperary woman who died following a collision at Ballintrae on the N80 in Carlow on Monday night is to be laid to rest today.

Denise O’Meara, who is from Portroe in Tipperary, died after her car was involved with a crash with a van on Monday evening.

Ms O’Meara was treated by emergency services at the scene, but passed away from her injuries.

She’ll be laid to rest in Castletown Graveyard in Castlelough following requiem mass in St Mary’s Church in Portroe.
