A crash caused delays on the rail line and heavy traffic disruption in Gowran this afternoon.
The incident involving a truck happened shortly before 3pm on the R702 when a lorry struck and damaged a level crossing.
A spokesperson for Irish Rail confirmed to KCLR News that the 1.15pm trainer from Heuston to Waterford was delayed by around 30 minutes while safety measures were put in place.
Traffic built up in both directions for a time, but the scene has since been cleared and no injuries were reported.
