Tributes have been pouring in for Pauric O’Rourke, a prominent figure in the business and sporting world who passed away yesterday.
O’Rourke was an accomplished amateur golfer, and a founding member and director at Gowran Park.
Adding to his many accolades, Paraic enjoyed huge success as a racehorse owner, with his horse Fleur in The Park winning the PwC Danoli Chase at Gowran Park just over a week ago.
Eddie Scally, General Manager at Gowran Park paid tribute to Paraic this morning, calling him a “larger than life figure”, both in golfing and racing circles.
Mr. Scally added that despite Paraic’s success in the sporting world, family is what was most important to him.
