Two people have been released without charge following a reckless driving incident in Carlow Town on Tuesday Night.
Garda in Carlow have been investigating the incident involving four unregistered scrambler bikes that were driving through the town at around 10 pm on Tuesday last causing damage to public planting, flowers and flower beds.
They subsequently searched two houses in the area, seized property and arrested the two individuals.
They were detained at Carlow Garda Station yesterday where they were interviewed and later released without charge.
Superintendent Anthony Farrell is appealing for anyone with any information that may support their investigation to contact Carlow Garda Station on 059 136620.
He says , “wreckless driving of unregistered quad bikes, contrary to road traffic legislation through Carlow town will not be tolerated, especially during hours of darkness.”
