Health Minister Simon Harris met with management and staff at St Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny yesterday – where the upgrading of facilities was up for discussion.
That’s according to Fine Gael Deputy John Paul Phelan who attended the meeting with Minister Harris yesterday afternoon.
He was in Kilkenny for the Irish Hospital Consultants Association’s annual conference, before making his way to the local acute hospital.
Speaking to KCLR news today, Deputy Phelan says the upgrading of facilities at St Luke’s was a major talking point.
