Volunteers sought for the Carlow/Kilkenny Red Cross

Volunteers are being sought to join the Carlow/Kilkenny branch of the Irish Red Cross.

The local branch was established in January of this year, and the crew have already taken part in over 20 different duties.

Local volunteers will be on the parade in Kilkenny city this afternoon from 12 noon until 4pm – and will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Breda Gardner is one of those involved with the local crew, she told KCLR that anyone can get involved.
