As temperatures rise, one county Kilkenny community’s been hit by a water outage.
Uisce Éireann’s confirmed its crews are working to repair a burst watermain which is impacting supply to Bennettsbridge, Annamult, Danesfort and surrounding areas.
Spokesperson Shane Aylward has assured affected customers that supply will be restored as quickly as possible, saying; “We acknowledge the inconvenience caused by unplanned outages and we thank affected customers for their understanding while our crews work to repair the burst and restore normal supply to their homes and businesses.”
Aim is to have the issue sorted by 2pm but those of the wider area are reminded it typically takes two to three hours following repairs for normal supply to restored and it may take longer for some.
