Waterways Ireland have withdrawn their application for planning permission for the Barrow Towpath.
Thats according to local councillor Arthur McDonald who says its been withdrawn until a public meeting has been held with locals about their plans.

They intend to build a cycle-path along the already existing walkway on the Barrow from Rathangan in Kildare through Goresbridge and onto St Mullins.
Speaking to KCLR News, Councillor McDonald says people have a number of issues with Waterways Ireland’s plans that have yet to be addressed.
