“We need to be delivering” says Carlow Kilkenny TD as a local area falls under water restrictions & Government’s set to reveal housing plan

A local TD says it’s disappointing that a north Kilkenny community’s waking up under further water restrictions.

Castlecomer’s long been hit with such issues and as KCLR News reported yesterday evening, Uisce Eireann appealed to the area’s residents and businesses to curtail their use between 9am and 9am until further notice.

This affects Clogh, Ardra, Massford, Moneenroe, Coolbawn as well as ‘Comer town itself.

Catherine Callaghan raised the topic in the Dáil last week with the Tánaiste and this morning she told KCLR News that this, with the Government’s housing plan (published since – details here), are examples of how a focus needs to be on delivering;
