Well known Kilkenny jewellers had valuable items stolen on Wednesday night

A late intruder visited a jewellery store in Kilkenny City on Wednesday night.

At around 9.15pm a male dressed in dark clothing and a hoodie armed with a crowbar gained access to Kellys Jewellery store.

All of the showcabinets were damaged and a number of jewellery items were stolen.

Owner of the shop James Mary Kelly spoke to The KCLR Daily about the robbery.
