Councillor Willie Quinn says he’s delighted that Borris have been chosen to represent Carlow in the pride of place awards.
Judges will visit Borris tomorrow to see the village in all its glory – and will be brought around on a train.

The pride of place committee in Borris have been putting their finishing touches in place, including painting and tidying up the area.
Speaking to KCLR, Willie says they’ve worked hard over the past few years to reach this stage.
