Woman who died in crash near Carlow border named locally as Joanna Doyle
The woman who died in a crash on Friday night near Ballickmoyler has been named locally as Joanna Doyle.
The 48-year-old died after a collision between her car and another car – the driver of which remains in serious condition in hospital.
The stretch of road on the N80 just over the Carlow border around Coolhenry had been closed for most of yesterday while a forensic examination was taking place.
Ms Doyle is understood to have been from Ballickmoyler.
