Young people from Carlow and Kilkenny shine at National Student Enterprise Awards

A local project was among the winners at the National Student Enterprise Awards.

‘Recharge’d’ from Megan Bryan, Ruth Moylan, Keira Lyons, Aimee Hickey and Katie Walsh at Coláiste Abhainn Rí in Callan took third place in the Junior section of the country-wide competition.

The school’s Imogen Lawless Greene and Caoimhe O’Shea were in the Intermediate category with their business ‘Helm Halo’.

While Senior competitors from our locality included ‘Timber Tote’ (pictured above thanks to the competition organisers on Insta) from Coláiste Eoin, Hacketstown in County Carlow and ‘Mini Caddy’ from CBC Kilkenny (below, thanks to Kilkenny LEO insta).
