A truck run will take place today in memory of Carlow girl Amy Lawler.
Hundreds of trucks and vehicles will take to the roads of Carlow today in memory of Amy Lawler.
The 7th annual road run starts at 3pm today at Toughers Restaurant, Dublin Road, Carlow with registration beginning at 1pm.
All funds from the run will go towards The Amy Lawler Memorial Fund, which was set up by family members to help families of Cystic Fibrosis sufferers.
Amy suffered with Cystic Fibrosis all her life, as she was diagnosed at the age of 2.
Amy passed away at the age of 17 in January 2011, awaiting a double lung transplant in St Vincent’s Hospital Dublin.
