As the National hurling league reaches its closing stages Kilkennys Michael Fennelly says its great to have such strong competition for places.
The 2009 All Ireland winning captain made his first appearance of the season when he came off the bench on Sunday in Wexford park as the Cats beat the home side to book a place in the League semi finals.
Yesterday the GAA confirmed that the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick will host the double header of semi finals on Easter Sunday with Kilkenny v Galway at 2 followed by the clash of Tipperary and Clare at 4.
And speaking to KCLR sport Michael Fennelly said its great that so many of the younger players that have come into the squad this year are pushing hard for a starting place.
