“All sorts of promises were made” but none have been kept.
That’s according to Thomastown resident, Shem Caulfield in relation to the flood relief work for the town and its surrounds following the severe flooding at the end of last year.
Shem gained some publicity during the floods thanks to former Labour leader, Joan Burton and then local TD Ann Phelan falling out of a boat he was pulling through the town.
However, speaking to KCLR he says nothing has been done.
