The song shortlist and judging panel has been revealed for the Pan Celtic New Song Competition ’25.
Winning act gets €1,000 as well as the chance to represent Ireland at the Song Contest element of the International five-day event which returns to Carlow in April.
Shannon Redmond from KCLR’s The Afternoon Crew will be joined by Today FM’s Louise Cantillon and singer John Spillane to judge the 15 selected tracks at Visual Carlow on the 25th of January.
Musical director as usual will be Carlow’s own Ollie Hennessy backed by the magnificent Pan Celtic House Band.
The song contest is organized by Pan Celtic Carlow in association with Carlow County Council and supported by IMRO, Foras na Gaeilge, Gael Linn, an tOireachtas and Glór Cheatharlach.
Two other prizes will be awarded on the night; €200 and €100 for the top two runner-ups.
