New outdoor work area in Carlow Town Park is officially opened

The official openeing of the new outdoor workout area in Carlow Town Park took place this morning

Mayor Fintan Phelan performed the opening ceremony

The project which was fudned through the Town & Village Renewal Scheme was completed last month

The calisthenic/street workout equipment is unique and has QR codes that can be scanned with a mobile device to reveal usage guidelines for each piece of equipment

There is also an outdoor table tennis and outdoor curveball tables for the sports enthuasist
