Tens of thousands of euro worth of damage has been done to Thomastown Community Hall by the recent floods.
And with no flood insurance available since 2009, it looks like once again the onus will fall on the Committee who’ve spent the past number of years refurbishing it to find the money for repair work.
Speaking to KCLR News, Chairman of that Committee, Séamus Quigley says they thought they were over the worst of it after they managed to clear Wednesday’s flood-water.
But he says it only got worse.
