Stephen Stuart from Callan has been acting for the past three years he landed the lead role as Danny in ‘ Where Eagle Scouts Dare ‘ a year ago with an Institute of Art, Design and Technology production.
The film is produced by Thomas Wallace and Patryk Lukaszewski. This week Stephen learned the movie he starred in has been nominated for an Irish Film and Cinema award.
The awards will take place in The Royal Marina Hotel, Dublin in November. However, before that on October 5th, the movie has been nominated to showcase at this year’s Roscommon International Film Festival.
Stephen said “It’s a great feeling, I can’t wait to attend the awards with my parents and brother
and see the movie cast again”.
“I love acting the team and directors and producers and full cast were the greatest people. I learned so much from Tom and Patryk.”
Stephen signed with Carlow agency The SRL Agency over a year ago but he isn’t just into acting, he’s a keen singer and he’s also a regional boxing champion. The 13 year old loves martial arts and enjoys hurling too. He recently started in Colaiste Abhainn Ri in Callan and so far is enjoying his secondary school experience.
