A Kilkenny man has been honoured for his outstanding contributions to the nursing home sector

Martin Gerard Byrne is Catering and Facilities Team Manager at Gowran Abbey Nursing Home and he was shotlisted for a prestigious NHI Care Awards

Martin’s been described as warm, compassion, and his leadership has made a lasting impact on the lives of residents, staff, and families at Gowran Abbey.

His dedication and care have cemented his role as a cherished and integral part of the community.
