UPDATE (10am 15th Sept): A stretch of the N80 has been closed between Glynn’s and Castletown crosses following this morning’s incident which involves a cattle lorry.

Care is needed again this morning on the N80 in Carlow following a crash.
It’s understood to have happened just after 9am at the Leagh bends.

Emergency services are en route and motorists are asked to avoid the stretch.
It’s not yet known if anybody’s been injured.
Meanwhile, investigations continue into the fatal incident on the route last Friday night.
