Excitement’s building locally as the FTD Brothers move into our space.
The UK duo (who may have family ties locally!) Jordan and Cian Adams have undertaken a challenge of running a marathon in every county in Ireland in a bid to raise €1million for dementia research and support.
The money will see 50% of funds raised by the duo has been pledged to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland with the rest going to their own non-profit, the FTD Brothers Foundation.
Their focus is on Frontotemporal Dementia (hence the FTD) which they lost their Mother Geraldine to in 2016 when she was aged just 52.
