Kilkenny woman among finalists announced for 2026 FBD Young Farmer of the Year

A Kilkenny woman is in the running for the 2026 FBD Young Farmer of the Year.

Joanne Cushen, from Callan Macra, is among six finalists selected from across the country.

The competition recognises the achievements and innovation of young farmers, with the overall winner to be announced at tonight’s awards in Killenard.
