14 animals found dumped in wooded area near Callan

4 lurcher dogs and 10 pups are being cared for after they were found dumped in a wooded area near Callan yesterday

The animals recovered by Kilkeny SPCA are said to be in appalling condition.

They’ve been taken to the Déise animal sanctuary and Mary Williams told KCLR Live they will be doing all they can for them but she doesn’t know if they will all survive.
