Judges arrive to inspect Kilkenny for international competition

Kilkenny City has some international visitors inspecting it’s all-round appearance today.

Judging for the Communities in Bloom competition began last night and continues until this evening in the city.

Kilkenny is registered in the International Challenge ‘Large’ Category alongside Calabasas in California, Fort Erie in Canada, Cervia in Italy and Rosemére in Canada.

The results of the prestigious environmental award will be announced at an awards ceremony in British Columbia this September.
