IT Carlow says it’s managed to prevent most of its courses from jumping in points.
52 thousand students have received offers of college places today and, nationally, points for almost half of courses have gone up.

The local institute says they adhered to guidelines from the Higher Education Authority which meant that just 11 of their 47 courses saw an increase this year.
Speaking to KCLR News, Head of Lifelong Learning in IT Carlow, Joe Collins, says they’re now looking forward to welcoming their new students.
