There will be a substantial cut in childcare costs from September, as the government’s introduction of new subsidy rates under the National Childcare Scheme comes into effect.
The scheme, which will impact early learning and childcare costs for families across the country, will see the minimum hourly subsidy for children under the age of 15 increase by 53% to €2.14 from the 2nd of September.
