Abbey Quarter development in Kilkenny City is progressing

Huge progress is being made on the Abbey Quarter development in Kilkenny city.

The Riverside Garden and Skate Park were officially opened in a ceremony yesterday (watch that event below).

It saw the creation of a new public realm area from this:

Former and Current Elected Members of Kilkenny County Council and Kilkenny Borough Council.

Our Edwina Grace was there and spoke with CEO of Kilkenny County Council Colette Byrne as well as meeting some of the people enjoying the new amenities.
