Gardaí are bidding to track down those responsible for a burglary at a north Kilkenny home.
It happened in The Islands area of Urlingford last Tuesday (6th Feb) afternoon between 2:10pm and 2:30pm..
Sgt Conor Egan says “A small little twenty minute window there, entry to the property was gained through the front door which was forced, all the rooms were ransacked, were gone through, and my colleagues in Urlingford are investigating same”.
He adds; “We are particularly anxious to hear from anyone in the area who might have seen a black Audi hatchback at the time, could be totally innocent, it’s just by way of elimination that, you know, if you were there on legitimate reasons driving a black Audi contact us just so we can eliminate it but we are anxious to speak to anybody that might have any knowledge or information in relation to that, again my colleagues in Urlingford or Castlecomer are investigating that and would love to hear from you”.
