Gardaí in Kilkenny are appealing for information following an alleged assault that occurred on Sunday, 16th March, at approximately 1:30am on Friary Street.
A person who was socialising in the area was struck in the face by an unknown male, causing him to fall. The victim sustained a cut to his head, a wound to his left eyebrow, and bruising to his left cheek. The suspect left the scene immediately after the incident.

Gardaí are asking anyone who may have witnessed the attack or who has CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to come forward. Those with information are encouraged to contact Kilkenny Garda Station.
