It looks like April’s set to live up to its showery reputation.
With summertime officially beginning last Sunday, many were hopeful for warmer temperatures.
However it looks likely rain will continue throughout the week.
Alan O’Reilly from Carlow Weather says there’s no real change on the horizon noting; “We’ve no real improvement in sight unfortunately for April, we have showers and plenty of showers, we do also have some heavier spells of rain, the only good news is most of those look to be at night time but there will unfortunately not be any great heat either so temperatures around normal or a little bit below at times and rainfall amounts a little above average”.
