If you’re wondering why there are lots of army personnel, trucks and helicopters around Kilkenny and Carlow this morning, don’t worry, we’re not at war.
The Defence Forces have told KCLR that there’s a five-day exercise on the South East this week known as
“Exercise Capstone”.
There are about 200 personnel involved and its part of training for young leaders and newly inducted soldiers and is based on a peace support scenario in an overseas environment.
